A massive landslide took place in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba distict, which resulted in blocking of the road connecting the district with Tissa village.

Heavy rains and flash floods have ravaged Chamba, causing inconvenience to the locals. The incessant rainfall has triggered landslides in Lahaul and Spiti districts of the state, leading to traffic blockade. The strategic Manali to Leh highway was closed for more than eight hours following a landslide at Marhi on 29 June, 30 kilometres uphill from the tourist town of Manali.
