After making changing to its regular mobile data plans, offering free calling minutes for non-Jio numbers, Reliance on Friday has updated its plans for JioPhone users also. The company is offering new plans starting from Rs 75 per month, going up to Rs 185 and offering up to 2GB data per day.
In addition to this, the new plans for JioPhone come bundled with 500 minutes of voice calls to non-Jio mobile network. Jio pointed out these plans come with highest amount of data, voice calls and value added services, claiming to offer 25 percent more value than its competition.
The company also clarified that even with the launch of the all-in-one plans, the current set of plans will continue to be available.
Here’s a look at what JioPhone users are getting with the new plans.
Previously, JioPhone users were paying Rs 49 per month to get 1GB data. With the new plans, the minimum they’ll be paying is Rs 75 for 3GB data per month, which translates into 100MB data per day, more than what they were getting before.
Thankfully, Jio is still offering the older plans, starting from Rs 49 per month, but you’ll have to pay extra for getting free voice calling minutes. Also, it’s worth mentioning that these plans will only work on JioPhone devices; first or second generation.
Speaking of JioPhone, the company is offering the first version of its 4G feature phone at Rs 699 as part of the Diwali offer, without having to exchange with another device.
