Indian captain Virat Kohli turned 31 on Tuesday and his deputy Rohit Sharma took to Twitter to wish his captain a very ‘Happy Birthday’.
With the rumours of a possible rift between the two stalwarts of Indian cricket, Rohit gave the anticipation a rest and wished Kohli “Happy birthday @imVkohli here’s wishing you a great year. God bless.”
Rohit is leading the Indian side for the three-match T20 series against Bangladesh in the absence of Virat. Rohit recently in a pre-match conference said that, “He wants to take the team forward from where Virat left.”
Many former and current Indian cricketers also wished the Indian skipper on social media.
