Odisha Hockey World Cup is here and the Temple City of Bhubaneswar is set to host one of the most-awaited tournament for the hockey fans. As the clock ticks 6 pm today, the Kalinga Stadium will be lit with performances from Bollywood celebrities, Odia actors and music maestro AR Rahman.

Hockey Men's World Cup will be declared open with this ceremony on Tuesday, with the first match of the tournament to be played on Wednesday, 28 November.

When is the Opening Ceremony Scheduled?

Men’s Hockey World Cup opening ceremony will start at 6:00 pm IST on 27 November. The overall duration of the ceremony is 90 minutes.

Who Will be Performing?

Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and AR Rahman will be performing at the opening ceremony of Men’s Hockey World Cup.

The curtain raiser will also feature a theatrical production and dance ballet by artists from Odisha.

Where Will it Stream?

The opening ceremony of Men’s Hockey World Cup will be broadcast live on Star Sports Network. One can watch the broadcast also on DD National, DD Sports, and all regional channels in Odisha.

The ceremony, which will largely be in English but will also have the Odia commentary, will be broadcast on DD Odia and regional channels.
