When Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017 open in Hyderabad, he also launched ‘Mitra’ – an indigenous, made in India robot.
Mitra has inbuilt applications to help individuals in customer interactions and has contextual knowledge to assist in places like hospitals, banks, airports, the husband-wife duo at Invento Robotics which built the robot said. They were speaking to BloombergQuint on the sidelines of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017.
On 28 November, however, it was busy stealing the show from Modi and Ivanka Trump at GES 2017 as it walked up to them, requested them to launch the summit by pressing buttons with the flags of their respective nations, and welcomed them with their names.
