Urvashi Rautela Trolled for Copying Model Gigi Hadid on Instagram

Actor Urvashi Rautela was called out on social media for copying an Instagram post by model Gigi Hadid.

Bollywood starlet Urvashi Rautela recently made it to headlines when she was spotted with Chunkey Pandey’s nephew, Ahaan Pandey, on a late night date.

No prizes for guessing as to what resulted in rumours of a romance brewing between the two. In a video doing the rounds, Rautela could be seen ditching the paparazzi and speeding off.

Though that was later deemed to be a PR gimmick orchestrated by her team.

As if that was not enough, Rautela is in news yet again! This time it’s an Instagram post in which Rautela ‘plagiarised’ Gigi Hadid’s caption.

Social media celebrity Diet Sabya was the first to pinpoint the copy paste job on Instagram. This was soon followed by social media users trolling Urvashi for duplicating model Gigi Hadid’s statement and passing it off as her own. Some parts were edited to give the current context.

“Seems like u guys tag me in a new post every day … pls stop.. it’s just negative, I really have no hard feelings towards you I just know what a beautiful world there is to go out and live in instead of trying to dissect something that you don’t even know and that you do not see 99% of. The energy you put into this does not serve your life in any way ...truly ‘beating a dead horse. You guys can call it promo but I just post about my boyfriend like anyone else, whether I support z or he supports me is out of love and excitement for one another. There’s nothing to figure out all the time, give it a break. this is my last comment on this matter but I hope u know it’s not coming from a bad place, just would love for you to find something else that inspires you in life…. X”

Gigi had originally written the post in July this year lambasting the western media which had gone berserk about her relationship with singer Zayn Malik.

It didn’t take long for social media users to notice the faux pas which was followed by comments on the original post.

Some even alleged that Rautela was deleting comments highlighting the goof-up.
