Avengers: Endgame had its world premiere at the Los Angeles Convention Center on 22 April. From emotional messages from the cast to some inspired red carpet looks, here’s what went down at the event.
In a speech to the audience, Mark Ruffalo, who plays the role of Hulk said:
Captain America star Chris Evans spoke about the Avengers bond and told the audience he “cried like six times” that night.
He may play Thor but Chris Hemsworth one-upped Captain America by admitting to crying more than six times during the premiere.
Both Brie Larson and Scarlett Johansson were seen wearing jewellery that had been inspired by the Infinity Stones from the Marvel Universe at the premiere of their movie. The Infinity Stones are six gems that give those who hold them power over the specific aspect of existence that they represent. Possible spoiler maybe?
Natalie Portman played the role of Thor’s love interest Jane Foster in Thor and Thor: The Dark World but hasn’t been not seen in any other Marvel movie since. Her appearance at the Avengers: Endgame premiere raised questions about whether her character would make a comeback in this final installment. I guess, we’ll just have to wait and watch.
Vin Diesel, who voiced the adorable Groot in the Guardians of the Galaxy series, attended the premiere in a jacket inspired by the character.
Marvel shared a montage video of with the cast and crew of the film, including Chris Hemsworth and Paul Rudd, thanking the fandom.
Avengers: Endgame is set to release in India on 26 April.
