WWE wrestling champion Brock Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman seems to have taken offence at Ranveer Singh’s recent appearance at the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup. More specifically, Ranveer’s tweet with pictures of him posing with Hardik Pandya caught Heyman’s eye – not because of Pandya but the caption that bore similarity to Lesnar’s catchphrase.
“Eat. Sleep. Dominate. Repeat. The name is Hardik. Hardik Pandya. @hardikpandya7 ma boi #unstoppable” wrote Ranveer.
As Heyman pionted out, Lesnar’s catchphrase is “ "Eat. Sleep. Conquer. Repeat”. He responded to his tweet saying,
“ARE YOU F'N KIDDING ME???????????
1 - It's Eat Sleep CONQUER Repeat
2 - Copyright #YourHumbleAdvocate and @BrockLesnar
3 - I am litigious
4 - EAT SLEEP DEPOSITION REPEAT”
The interaction between the two led fans to demand Ranveer Singh and Brock Lesnar to face off at Wrestlemania.
Others mock cautioned Ranveer.
And a few cheered Ranveer on to respond.
Several celebrities attended the match between India and Pakistan at Old Trafford stadium in Manchester on 16 June. Ranveer Singh, who is set to play former Indian skipper Kapil Dev in sports drama 83, was spotted bonding with several cricketers such as Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Saurav Ganguly and Sir Vivian Richards.
Directed by Kabir Khan, 83 is based on India’s historic win at the 1983 Cricket World Cup. Ranveer Singh will play Kapil Dev in the film with Deepika Padukone as his wife Romi Bhatia. The film also stars Hardy Sandhu, Chirag Patil, Saqib Saleem, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Bhasin, Ammy Virk and Saahil Khattar. It releases on 10 April 2020.
