Baahubali star Tamannaah Bhatia has denied recent reports that she “paid double” while purchasing a new flat in Versova, Mumbai.
Last month, it was reported that Tamannaah had bought the sea-facing flat in a locality called Baywview at the rate of Rs. 80,778 per sq. ft., which is twice the current rate in Versova. Since the total area of the house she bought is 191 sq. ft. she ended up paying Rs. 16.60 crores for it. That would make it quite possibly the most someone has ever paid to buy a flat in the Western suburbs.
However the actor, who is popular in Telugu and Tamil language films, has now rubbished those reports in particular the detail about paying a higher than usual price.
Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Tamannaah said that she had been asked my multiple people about the story, including her Hindi teacher.
Tamannaah also spoke about her upcoming Hindi project Bole Chudiyan opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Bole Chudiyan is being directed by Nawaz’s brother Shamas Siddiqui.
