After Mouni Roy was dropped from upcoming Nawazuddin-starrer Bole Chudiyan, the filmmakers have now got a new actor on board and it’s Tamannaah Bhatia. The announcement was made by Taran Adarsh on Twitter on Friday. The filming for Bole Chudiyan is expected to begin in Rajasthan very soon.

“Tamannaah Bhatia teams up with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in #BoleChudiyan... Nawazuddin’s brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui directs the film... Produced by Rajesh and Kiran Bhatia... Start-to-finish shooting will commence in #Rajasthan shortly.”

Bole Chudiyan is the directorial debut of Nawazuddin’s brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui. It is produced by Rajesh and Kiran Bhatia. On Friday, Shamas took to social media to share the news as well.

He wrote, “And finally the hunt for my perfect heroine ends here. Welcome drop dead gorgeous and talented @tamannaahspeaks to #BoleChudiyan family!”

Earlier Mouni Roy was supposed to star opposite Sacred Games actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. However, the producer had charged her with “unprofessional behavior” and taken her off the film.

Explaining his move, producer Rajesh Bhatia said in a statement: "We have invested a big amount of money and if asking someone in a civil manner to be professional and be committed to the role is being rude, then, sorry, we are in the serious business of making movies with high stakes and it's not a hobby.”

Mouni Roy’s spokesperson had also issued a statement. “Mouni Roy is no longer a part of the film. Mouni has done many films before and has had a successful career, where everyone has vouched for her professionalism. Mr Rajesh Bhatia (producer), on the other hand, is making his second film. His first film ran into many controversies, where he had even accused a senior actor of interference. He is now claiming that Mouni is not a professional, whereas there are several emails and text messages proving otherwise, which we will be happy to share. Even the contract isn’t signed because of the discrepancies in it.”
