Actor Anushka Sharma turns 31 on 1 May and Virat Kohli is taking time off from his busy IPL schedule to squeeze in some much-needed alone time to celebrate his lady love’s big day.
According to a report by News 18, the cricketer plans to spend the entire day with Anushka and has even rented out a venue for a specially curated private dinner exclusively for the couple. Virat and Anushka are reportedly planning to make the most of their limited time together before the cricketer dives into training for the 2019 Cricket World Cup and the Sui Dhaaga actor begins work commitments in Mumbai.
Virat took to Instagram to share a video of the couple cosying up to each other at the edge of a pier.
Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore were in action on Tuesday night, on the eve of Anushka's birthday, but the match against Rajasthan Royals was first delayed due to rain and eventually abandoned around 12:30 am. After being forced to share points with Rajasthan, RCB became the first team to officially be ruled out of the race. Their last match of the season will be on Saturday at home against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Anushka Sharma was last seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in Anand L Rai directorial Zero. The film, which released in December last year, failed to make a significant mark at the box office with a lifetime collection of Rs 90.28 crores.
