Producer Kamal Jain has backed Kangana Ranaut in her ongoing row with her Manikarnika co-director Krish.
Krish has questioned the validity of Kangana receiving first credit for direction, claiming that she had shot only 20-25 per cent of the first half of the film and added a few shots in the climax. “I don’t think how Kangana can sleep well by taking the first credit in direction when she does not deserve it,” he said.
Kamal Jain slammed Krish in a statement saying,
The statement corroborates the message that Kangana had allegedly sent to Krish in which she wrote, “Stop feeling wronged or anything please come and see the film then decide for yourself. What your name should be in the credits that call only Kamal can take.”
Kangana’s sister and manager Rangoli recently took to social media to attempt to clear the air after Krish’s comments. Calling the director an “opportunist”, she posted a series of tweets that included screenshots of messages that Kangana had allegedly sent the film’s writer Vijayendra Prasad as well as Krish explaining her side of the story.
