After leading the BJP to a massive victory in the Lok Sabha polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his mother Heeraben on Sunday, 26 May and sought her blessings. On Monday, 27 May, the Prime Minister will visit Varanasi, his constituency, to thank the people who voted him into power with 4.8 lakh votes.
The leader had taken to Twitter on the morning of 25 May, Saturday to announce that he will be flying to Gujarat on Sunday, 26 May, to seek the blessings of his mother, Heeraben.
The National Democratic Alliance, powered by the pan-India campaign of the prime minister, won 353 seats in the 542 Lok Sabha constituencies that went to polls. PM Modi also had a landslide win from his constituency, Varanasi, where he won by nearly 4.8 lakh votes.

On Monday, he will leave for Kashi to thank the people for the ‘immense love and support he has received from them’.
On 23 May, when the results were announced, Modi tweeted thanking the people of Kashi for voting him into power.
