Donald Trump is not only lagging behind in the presidential race but also in mass appeal.
With less than two weeks to go before the polls, Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star was vandalised by a man who reportedly dressed up as a construction worker and wielded a sledgehammer to destroy the concrete star.
James Lambert Otis was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism and was booked on a $20,000 bond.
This is not the first time that Trump’s star was attacked.
Earlier, a Los Angeles-based street artist had built a miniature wall, featuring razor wire and "Keep Out" signs, around Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
A Nazi swastika too was spray painted on the star.
Then in June, a mute sign was painted to protest against Trump’s radical language against minorities and immigrants.
