Baloch leader Brahamdagh Bugti approached the Permanent Mission of India in Geneva for filing asylum paper.

He was reportedly asked by the Permanent Mission of India to approach the Indian High Commission in Bern, in Switzerland, for the same.

Speaking to the media, Bugti said:

This is a great step that Indian government took a stand for Balochistan. If Pakistan government is saying everything is fine in Balochistan, then why don’t they let people go there? There’s a war-like situation. There’s heavy deployment of army & FC in Quetta. It’s impossible for our political parties to carry out activities openly.

He said that people are frustrated in Balochistan except for those who have been threatened and bribed to agree with the government.

In Balochistan, whichever government assumes office, there’s no opposition. This just shows, there’s a core commander and he dominates. CM is there just for show.
