Dear India,
How are you ? It's been a while since we talked. It’s hard, I understand, after all we are a family of 1.25 billion people. Back when I was in school, I use to read books and watch movies about your rich and glorious past. And every time, it gave me goosebumps reading about the brave men who sacrificed and fought bravely and in unity. Every time their unity was put on a test, they stood tall and no one could pull them apart.
But unfortunately, in the last few years, many obnoxious events have taken place which has weakened us as a society. But I believe this is just a phase and we will rise above it.
Let's shift our focus from banning movies and meat to putting an end to female foeticide, child labour, child marriage, corruption and rape. 2017 was a great year for us. So let's work hard, let's stay united, and make the coming years better.
