Mumbai Tense After Yakub Memon’s Execution

Yakub Memon, convicted for his role in the 1993 Mumbai blasts, was hanged at around 7 am at the Nagpur Central Jail. Memon’s body was handed over to his family in Nagpur, from where it was flown in to Mumbai and taken straight to his Mahim residence.
