Glenys Mills – who hails from Derbyshire, UK – has beaten all odds to pursue the sport. Mills says it helps offset the chronic pain she had been suffering due to multiple sclerosis, which has also left her partially paralysed in the legs.

Her family has been supportive of her unusual hobby, which she started pursuing in 2015.

What’s more, the octogenarian has a history of trying out adventure sports, which rangers from hang-gliding in Canada to zip-lining in Europe. Whoa!

I have never been particularly adventurous but these adventures are my way of letting the multiple sclerosis know that it lives with me – I do not live with it.
