Two days that changed Gursimran ‘Sim’ Bhullar’s life.
Signed on by the Sacramento Kings on a 10-day contract, the 7ft 5in tall baller made his NBA debut against Minnesota Timberwolves on the 8th of April, becoming the first player of Indian descent to play in the American league.
Though he played just 16 seconds in his debut game, his second outing was a bit more fruitful. Against the Utah Jazz on the 9th of April, the 22-year old scored a basket and made a rebound.
Watch as he speaks of his experience and the effect he wants to have ‘back home’ in India.
