What do Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic have in common?

Both are World Number ones. Both won the singles title at the Wimbledon over the weekend and apparently, both can put up quite a dance performance.

Attending the Wimbledon Champions’ dinner at the Guildhall in London, the two title-winners took the stage to break into an impromptu dance-off to ‘night fever’.

However, as Djokovic later explained, the two in fact were bringing back an old tradition and the dance wasn’t as impromptu as it looked!

Back in the day, there used to be a formal ball at the end of Wimbledon where the men’s and women’s singles champions would dance, but over the years the tradition had been discarded.

However, ‘The Djoker’ decided to bring back the tradition, and with a little help from Serena, gave it a modern twist

I was thinking more of a waltz or something, I would say, more sophisticated, something that blends in, in the environment and the beautiful hall where we had the dinner yesterday. But Serena wanted to move a little bit more, so then we considered other options and ‘Night Fever’ came to life.
