A mechanical engineer is fascinating everyone with his jaw-dropping 3D illusions that blur the lines between reality and art. Shivrama Krishna, 26, has no formal training but the passionate cartoonist creates incredible 3D illusion drawings across roads and rooftops.
Krishna uses a range of paint brushes and paint stainers to craft his optical illusions, which include a larger than life size swimming pool, staircase and Eiffel Tower on paper sheets. The son a farmer from Karimnagar in Telangana, Krishna always had a knack for drawings. It takes him three to four hours to complete each one.
Krishna started painting and cartooning as a hobby before eventually getting an opportunity to work as a cartoonist for a text book in 2011. But he got the taste of 3D art for the first time in 2015 after assisting an artist from New Delhi. Since then, he practises day and night to perfect his skills.
