The jail break took place between 2 am and 4 am, say initial reports.
The five prisoners Satyendra Gupta, Mohd Shoeb Salim Khan, Bisen Uikey, Prem Nepali and Akash Thakur fled from the jail, reports IBNLive.
While three inmates have been booked under Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), the other two face charges under the Arms Act and Robbery.
