VK Singh Stokes Controversy With ‘Dog’ Remark On Ballabgarh Deaths

Former army chief and Minister of State for External Affairs VK Singh has sparked controversy with his remarks on the killing of two Dalit children in Haryana.

Singh first said that the government should not be blamed for the incident.

Don’t connect the government with it. It was a feud between two families, the matter in under inquiry.

As an afterthought, he made a remark using dogs as an analogy which has created the controversy.

If someone throws stones at a dog, the government is not responsible.

In the wake of the controversy, the minister has issued a clarification on Twitter.
