The Quint Interacts With Farmers As Rahul Wraps Up ‘Kisaan Yatra’

During his yatra Rahul Gandhi focused on the problems of farmers such as debts and promised to get them loan waiver.

After covering a total distance of around 3,438 km across 48 districts, Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi’s Kisaan Yatra enters its last leg.

In an attempt to gather support for the Assembly Elections in the state Rahul Gandhi attended 26 Khat Sabhas and took part in 26 road shows.

During his yatra that began in the far eastern corner of Uttar Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi focused on the issues of the farmers such as loan waiver.

Gandhi says he will now take the demands of the farmers to PM Modi and insist on loan waivers.

The demands from farmers were accepted in writing as Rahul went along the yatra on Kisaan Maang Patras which were being distributed by his team.
