The GB Pant Children’s Hospital in Srinagar has got a new blood bank, which has provided much-needed relief to local residents.

The Jammu and Kashmir government has ensured that this blood bank is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including machines, refrigerators and comfortable chairs, where patients can donate their blood with confidence and patients or their families can procure blood within minutes free-of-cost. This blood bank has a capacity to store up to 400 units of blood.
The previous blood bank in the hospital had got damaged in the 2014 floods.
