After meeting Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh, JDU President Sharad Yadav said Janata Parivar will remain intact.
“The grand alliance will be as it was before today,” he said. On being asked about the seat sharing he said, “today we only discussed national state affairs, we will discuss the seat sharing later.”
Mulayam Singh Yadav had earlier siad that he will leave the “grand alliance” formed by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s JDU, Lalu Prasad’s RJD and the Congress to counter the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
Speaking on the issue, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav said, “Mulayam ji is our guardian and more than that he is our relative. If Mulayam ji is upset about something, we will definitely try to make things right.”
