SNL Parodies Presidential Debate, Gives Us Alec Baldwin as Trump

The 42nd season of the American sketch-comedy show Saturday Night Live opened with a recreation of the US Presidential Debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

The concerns the two candidates addressed in SNL’s version of the debate involved economy, jobs, Hillary Clinton’s “orange” face, her “human father” and “relatable” background, among other things.

Alec Baldwin brought a pouty Donald Trump to the lampoon party. He was equally matched by Kate McKinnon’s acrobatic Clinton and Michael Che's impassive Lestor Holt. For more, check out the video below.

This wasn’t the first time the NBC show parodied a Presidential Debate. It has had its own versions of George Bush and Ross Perot in the past as well.
