Have you ever played the famous chit game called ‘Raja Mantri Chor Sipahi’? I’m sure you have and that, to be honest, was one of my favourite childhood games. It’s been a while I played it, but thanks to the fun cast of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3, I was able to relive my childhood memory of the game. Although this time, the game had a little twist which made it even more fun. Whoever becomes the “king”, has to make every other character do something as a kind of punishment.
There were four options to choose from, and each round had a different segment. The first round was doing “dares” from a given list. The second round was “truth”, third was “the most Googled question about me” and fourth was “ask me anything”.
The “king” selected in the first round was Mahi Gill, then I became the king. The rounds ahead had Jimmy Sheirgill taking the chit unfairly and claiming to have made his own destiny while others sat and complained, and in the last round, 'raja’ was given to Chitrangada Singh because then it’s only fair that everyone gets a chance to be the king.
The game had some funny moments where you can see Jimmy Shergill dancing without music or like Chitrangada singing a self-created “original” song, which was actually ‘Lag Jaa Gale’ with messed up lyrics.
The third instalment of the Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster franchise has been locked for release on 27 July. Sanjay Dutt is also part of the cast. The film is produced by Rahul Mittra and directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.
