Rajkummar Rao has be slaying with one performance after other. We can confidently say that he has become one of the most bankable actors of our time. From Newton to Fanney Khan and now Stree, he aces every role, small or big. Thanks to his back-to-back hit film, the actor has started signing some big endorsement deals. The latest being, SAFILO's eyewear brand ‘Seventh Street’. Rajkummar Rao has been announced as the new brand ambassador of the eye wear brand.
We caught up with the actor who told us three things to keep in mind before calling someone 'chashmish'.
“First, check out how the person is looking in those glasses, And second 'kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna'. So let them say whatever they want to say. And third, anybody can wear them and they are pretty affordable.”
Not just that, we also tested his imitating skills and we would say he passed with flying colours. Rajkummar imitated three actors, Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth and Shah Rukh Khan.
He also spoke about his films and how he manages to always convince the audience, whatever character he plays. Rajkummar says, “I don't know, I just love doing it. I think as an actor, that's my job, to play different characters and be different in those characters. I just can't play myself in every film. So whenever I get an opportunity, I try and bring something different to my character.”
He revealed what makes him say yes to a script. “A script is offering me something that I have not done earlier and people who are making it, for 'Fanney Khan' of course it was Anil Sir and Ash, I have always been a big fan.”
