Rahul Holds Khat Sabha in Kameri Village, Appeals to Muslim Voters

The Amethi MP visited a temple in the cantonment area and a gurdwara. He also visited Ala Hazrat Dargah.

On the 19th day of his Kisan Yatra in Uttar Pradesh, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi held interacted with the students of the Rohilkhand university in Bareilly.

Gandhi also canvassed across the religious spectrum of Uttar Pradesh as he first visited the visited the Dhoopeshwar Mahadev Temple in Bareilly followed by the Dargah-e-Allah Hazrat.

Adhering to the theme of his rural outreach programme, Gandhi later presided over a ‘Khat Sabha’ in Kameri village of Rampur District.

The Congress Vice President said his party has all the capabilities and competency to pull the nation out of the grip of communalism, poverty, lawlessness and free the farmers from their debt burden.

Following his journey, the Congress VP will head back to Delhi where he is expected to take a day off. Gandhi will resume his Yatra on Friday from Bulandshahr, following which his cavalcade is expected to make deeper inroads within Uttar Pradesh.
