3. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s AOL Event Could Kill Delhi’s Lifeline

AOL is organising a three-day festival where around 35 lakh people will come from all over the world. More than a thousand acres of the Yamuna floodplains have been cleared and gigantic stages are being built, including one that would be built over 7 acres where 35,000 musicians will perform together.

The area has been cleared of all vegetation and is being filled with construction material. Several ramps and parking areas are being built. Arrangements are being made to ferry 35 lakh people.

4. Manohar Parrikar Justifies Deploying The Army for AOL Event

The NGT questioned the Centre on how no environmental clearance was sought by the Art of Living Foundation before the construction work was initiated. The decision to deploy the Indian army to construct pontoon bridges for the event has also been severely criticised.

6. Waterproof Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge Now in India

It has taken less than a month for Samsung to introduce its Galaxy S7 series in India, after its global debut at the MWC 2016. The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge have been priced at Rs 48,900 and Rs 56,900 respectively, available from 18 March onwards.

The company is also bundling the Gear VR headset if you pre-book either of the Galaxy S7 phones right now.

7. Mercedes-Maybach S600 Guard Priced at Rs 10.50 Cr Is Bombproof

Mercedes-Benz India launched the most expensive car in their portfolio in India, the Mercedes-Maybach S600 Guard at Rs 10.50 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The S600 Guard is the first civilian vehicle to be certified with the highest ballistic protection, level VR10.
