1. NIA Issues Arrest Warrant Against JeM Chief Masood Azhar
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has issued an arrest warrant against Chief of terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) Masood Azhar, along with Abdul Rauf, Kashif Jan and Shahid Latif on Friday. According to a source in the NIA, the agency will present new evidence to the Indian government against Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) Chief Maulana Masood Azhar. During the Pathankot terror attack investigation, the agency unearthed documents which revealed that the trust and magazine run by JeM – Al Ahaam and Al Kalam – collect funds, which are eventually used in terror activities.
