French President Francois Hollande called on the United States and Russia on Monday to join a global coalition to destroy the ISIS following the attacks across Paris and announced a wave of measures to combat terrorism in France.
“France is at war,” Hollande told a joint session of Parliament at the Palace of Versailles, promising to increase funds for national security and strengthen anti-terrorism laws in response to the suicide bombings and shootings that killed 129.

Manik Katyal is a well-known photographer. He is also the founder, curator and editor-in-chief of the “iconoclastic, hip and edgy” Emaho magazine, which strives to promote and showcase the “best creative talent on offer.”
Katyal is also the man against whom numerous women have spoken up, for allegedly sexually harassing them. All the women The Quint has spoken to had eerily similar stories to tell. As part of the hiring process, he’d meet interns for an interview. According to these women, he didn’t seem very interested in the work they would be doing for him.
4. Principal, 2 Others Arrested After 3 Year-Old Dies in School Lift
In a tragic incident, a three-year-old girl, Syeda Xainab Fatima, died after getting stuck in the lift of a private nursery school on Tuesday in Dilsukhnagar area of Hyderabad in Telangana, police said.
Agencies report that the school principal and the child’s teacher and an educational official have been arrested. The incident occurred as a school teacher along with a few students were going from the ground floor to the third floor of the school.

The Army and Air Force have been deployed for rescuing stranded citizens in Kancheepuram district, where torrential rains have left residents marooned. Rain water has inundated a large part of suburban Tambaram locality in Chennai – although there have been no fresh rains in the city today.
