The Quint Stands By its Story on CBI Chief’s Role in Agusta Probe

The CBI’s so-called ‘rebuttal’ to The Quint’s exclusive story ‘Did CBI Chief Anil Sinha Play a Role in AgustaWestland?‘ (7 June 2016) may have been counterproductive. The investigating agency has said that Anil Sinha, the then Inspector General of SPG and presently Director of CBI, attended a preliminary meeting relating to VVIP helicopters on 8 November 2004 as a representative of the then Director, SPG.

At the very least, the CBI’s rejoinder confirms The Quint’s story that Anil Sinha was present at the meeting.

Movie Review: Big B is a Treat to Watch in ‘TE3N’

Some filmy battles are won by simply finding the perfect cast. Team Te3n definitely knows managed to do so. After all, it has Amitabh Bachchan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan in the thick of things.

However, we can’t help but wish that instead of simply basking in this triumph, producer Sujoy Ghosh and director Ribhu Dasgupta worked harder on making the screenplay taut. The result could have been magical!
