The Canadians tasted a dash of Royalty when Prince William, Kate Middleton and their two adorable children visited the country for a highly anticipated trip.
The Royals thanked the Canadian Government and the people for a warm and fruitful stay.
We have loved our time in British Columbia and Yukon and will never forget the beautiful places we have seen and the many people who have been kind enough to come to welcome us in person.Prince William said in a statement
They landed in Canada on 25 September. Their first stop was at the Cridge Centre, a non-profit society that provides childcare and supportive housing.
During their stop, the Royals unveiled a statue that pays tribute to those who have overcome challenges at the centre.
During their eight-day Canadian tour, the royal couple also visited Vancouver’s most impoverished neighbourhood, participated in aboriginal ceremonies in Haida Gwaii, British Columbia, and met residents of the small community of Carcross, Yukon.
Catherine and I are incredibly grateful to the people of Canada for the warmth and hospitality they have extended to our family over the last week.Prince William
