On Monday, Jain Religious leader Tarun Sagar said that he doesn’t think Vishal Dadlani knows anything about Jainism or its beliefs and added that the question of apology doesn’t arise as he is not angry with the music composer in the first place.

A police complaint was filed against the composer-singer on Sunday for his controversial tweet that mocked Jain leader Tarun Sagar who delivered a lecture in the Haryana Assembly on Friday.

AAP supporter and music composer Vishal Dadlani came under sharp criticism from several quarters including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his sarcastic tweet following which he announced quitting “all active political work/affiliation”.

After a barrage of criticism, Dadlani tendered an apology for his tweet and also deleted it.

BJP also condemned the sarcastic tweet of AAP supporter Vishal Dadlani on Jain monk Tarun Sagar’s address to the Haryana Assembly, saying it showed the party’s “low-level” of thinking.
