A group of chefs from across Peru gathered in the country's capital city Lima to make the world's biggest chocolate bar. The chefs worked for 24 hours consecutively. The gigantic chocolate treat was acknowledged by the Guinness World Records.
The bar was made using more than two tonnes of pure cocoa, 1,500 litres of milk, 700 kilos of sugar and 250 litres of water. The Peruvian experts beat the current world record for the largest chocolate bar (by area) which was held by Čokoladnica Cukrček in Slovenia measuring 142.32 m². The bar was sprinkled with 20 kilos of walnuts and chestnuts and the masterpiece was made with an astounding 2 tonnes of pure cocoa.
