Manushi Chhillar has become the 6th Indian to win the Miss World title. India last held the title 17 years ago when Priyanka Chopra brought the honour home. Chhillar was chosen for the title from among 108 contestants at the beauty pageant.
The Miss World winner was crowned Femina Miss India in 2017.
Her success has been beyond imagination, but what exactly do you think placed the crown upon her head?
In the final round when the judged posed a question at her: “Which profession deserves the highest salary and why?”
The 20-year-old answered: “I think a mother is of the highest respect. I don’t think its just about cash but love and respect she gives to someone. She is the biggest inspiration in my life. Mother should get highest salary and respect.’

Born to a family of doctors, the medical aspirant studied at St Thomas School in Delhi and Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women in Sonepat.
The Haryana girl is not only a would-be doctor and a model, but her creative talent stretches from being a poet, a painter, an actor, to a trained classical dancer.
