According to the trends, the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance has not only taken a comfortable lead in Maharashtra, in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, but have also managed to completely wipe out the Congress from a state that was considered its stronghold.

Be it national security, Hindutva or development - the combination of these three factors fielded by the alliance has managed to completely decimate the Congress party. The latter has won only one seat in Maharashtra.
