A drone over the Kumbh ground in Prayagraj shows the 3,200-acre campus in its full majesty, and the extensive preparations made by the state government to make the event a grand affair.

The tent city consisting of more than 2,000 tents has been set up. There are premium villas at Rs. 35,000 a night, cottage tents from Rs. 12,000-16,000 a night, and dormitories ranging from Rs. 350-Rs. 3,500.

The Mela area has over 1.22 lakh toilets, 250 km of new roads, 22 pontoon bridges and over 40,000 LED lights. The Ganga Pandal at the venue has a capacity of 10,000 people.

The ‘Ardh Kumbh’ will be celebrated from 15 January to 4 March.
