Ahead of the release of Sachin: A Billion Dreams, school children In Vadodara paid a unique tribute to the Master Blaster, by painting 100 bats at an event on 24 May.

The bats represent the 100 centuries Tendulkar scored during his illustrious career. The painted bats will be put up at an exhibition, where visitors will be asked to vote for the top five. The winners of the competition will get a chance to meet Sachin.

Some children painted Sachin’s face on the bats, while others painted the World Cup Trophy. Some also painted his jersey number.

The cricket bat is dear to Sachin... This is a century of love for him from the children of Baroda.
