27-year-old Usha Kiran was inspired to join the CRPF forces by her grandfather and father who have served the forces for years. The young lady becomes the first female CRPF jawan in the Maoists hot bed Bastar.
“My journey in Bastar will be good and different. Even though my journey has just started, I know it is going to be challenging and I have a lot to learn. I will work hard to fulfill all my duties as a jawan,” says Usha.
Usha is not only an inspiration to women everywhere but has also become a milestone for the CRPF.
