The pamphlet war has now taken a legal turn. BJP leader Gautam Gambhir has sent a defamation notice to Aam Aadmi Party's Atishi, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, a day after Atishi accused Gambhir of distributing derogatory and casteist pamphlets against her.

But the AAP is not ready to take Gambir’s challenge lying down. They are now planning to countersue the cricketer-turned-politician. They have already complained to the Delhi Commission for Women and now plan on approaching the Election Commission and the police.

4. ‘India’s Divider in Chief’: TIME Magazine Changes Tone on Modi

TIME Magazine has featured Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again on its cover. But the latest edition calls him India’s ‘divider in chief’. The story published in the magazine asks if India can endure another five years of Modi government.

This is a remarkable shift from TIME's 2015 cover on Modi titled 'Why Modi Matters'. It was accompanied by an interview with the PM and carried the tagline “The world needs India to step up as a global power. One year in, can Prime Minister Narendra Modi deliver?”
