No Regrets, Won’t Apologise: BJYM’s Priyanka Sharma After Release
After she was released by Kolkata Police on Wednesday, 15 May, BJP Youth Wing Convenor Priyanka Sharma said she has done nothing wrong and that she “will not apologise” for anything.
Sharma was arrested on 10 May by the police under section 500 (defamation) of the Indian Penal Code and other provisions of the Information Technology Act on a complaint of local Trinamool Congress leader Vibhas Hazra, for allegedly sharing a meme on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

No, ‘Gujaratis’ Have Not Been Asked to Leave West Bengal’s Barasat
On 13 May, 'Chowkidar' Shishir Bajoria, Kolkata-based industrialist and BJP state executive member, tweeted that the West Bengal police have asked 'Gujaratis' in Barasat to leave immediately, ahead of the polls.
When The Quint asked if the workers were actually made to leave post this altercation, Bajoria evaded the question.

Air India Probes Commander Accused of Sexually Harassing Pilot
An Air India senior pilot has alleged that she was sexually harassed by an airline’s commander on 5 May in Hyderabad.
The woman pilot was being trained by the commander. She filed a complaint on the same day, in which she mentioned that "the unfortunate incident" took place after her training session.
She also said that “all this happened without any prompting” from her side and it left her shocked and feeling “extremely uncomfortable, scared and humiliated.”

“Had my rape not been brought up by politicians like Narendra Modi and Mayawati, maybe I would have never got justice,” fumbles the 19-year-old Dalit woman, a Class 12 student, in Rajasthan’s Alwar, who dreams of joining the state police in future, the same institution which failed her a few days back.
The girl’s husband alleges that the police delayed taking action due to elections, and the survivor said that she “felt like killing them myself when they circulated my video on WhatsApp.”
