1. SC Adjourns Hearing In Ayodhya Case to January 2019


The Supreme Court on Monday, 29 October, adjourned the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title case to January 2019 and said that an appropriate bench will fix the next date for hearing.

The adjournment was followed by the political slugfest. Congress leader P Chidambaram lashed out and said that BJP will politicise the issue before the elections.

2. All 189 Onboard Indonesia's Lion Air Flight Feared Dead


The search and rescue agency of Indonesia has said on Monday, 29 October, that all the 188 people, including passengers and crew members are feared dead.

Among the crew members, was Indian-origin pilot Bhavye Suneja. The Delhi-based pilot was declared dead by Indian embassy in Jakarta. As per sources, Suneja was planning to move back to India and he had discussed the same with an airlines official in India.

5. Tata Group Terminates Suhel Seth's Contract as Consultant


The Tata Group on Monday, 29 October, announced that it is terminating the contract of Suhel Seth as its consultant after multiple women called him out for sexually harassing them.

Suhel Seth's tenure with the Tata Group will end on November 30.
