Bring Down the Rhetoric: HC to Arnab on Tharoor Defamation Plea
The Delhi High Court on Monday sought a response from Arnab Goswami, and his newly-launched news channel Republic TV, on Congress MP Shashi Tharoor’s defamation plea against them.
In his plea, Tharoor has claimed damages and compensation of Rs 2 crore from the journalist and his channel for allegedly making defamatory remarks against him while airing news relating to the death of his wife Sunanda Pushkar.

14 Men Molest 2 Women in UP; Keep Women Indoors, Says Azam Khan
Four people have been arrested in Rampur for allegedly molesting two women in broad daylight, UP police said on Monday.
Reacting to news of the incident, Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan told ANI that girls should avoid going to such areas. “Men should keep their women indoors,” he said.
