Former Pakistani National Security Adviser Mahmud Durrani’s remark that terror outfits based in his country had staged the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai has sparked a political debate in india. While BJP President Amit shah used the opportunity to hardsell his government’s diplomacy efforts, the Congress and other opposition parties demanded that the matter be now escalated on international forums.
Addressing a conference in New Delhi on Monday, the former Pak NSA had also added that Hafiz Saeed has no utility for Islamabad, and must be punished for plotting terror attacks in India.
