Four police officials have been suspended after reports alleged that a disco party was organised at the main gate of the Deepankheda police station at Vidisha district in Madhya Pradesh. The police personnel who were allegedly dancing in an inebriated condition were celebrating the cancellation of a station officer’s transfer.
An initial inquiry into the incident was conducted by Sub-Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) Sironj.
According to the Superintendent of Police, the suspended officials include Deepankheda police station-in-charge, Yogendra Singh Parmar, a head constable, and two jawans. Vidisha’s Additional Superintendent of Police has been reportedly asked to probe the matter in detail.
