With just a few days ahead of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly Elections, Congress VP Rahul Gandhi conducted three rallies in the state on 6 November.
At Chamba, Rahul Gandhi compared the current Himachal Pradesh government under Congress CM Virbhadra Singh to BJP’s Gujarat Model and claimed that HP stands way higher when it comes to education, medical facilities and anti-corruption practices.
He went ahead and further took a dig at PM Modi and his silence on corruption and scams related to his party members.
Amit Shah’s son’s company grew from Rs 50000 to Rs 80 crore in three months under PM Modi’s nose yet he made no efforts to enquire about it.Rahul Gandhi, Congress Vice President
Rebuking the current BJP Govt for claiming that they will celebrate a year of demonetisation, Rahul Gandhi claimed that the common people had nothing to celebrate since demonetisation, followed by GST only benefitted the top 10 industrialists in the country.
He claimed that it was because of these two economic efforts that the state of Himachal Pradesh lost its symbol: the Himachali topi or hat.
Decoding the word ‘HAT’, Rahul claimed that it stood for Horticulture, Agriculture and Tourism, the three things that the state runs on.
You wear these topis, which are called hats in English. But your hats mean horticulture, agriculture and tourism and this HAT has been adversely affected due to Modiji’s demonetisation and GSTRahul Gandhi, Congress Vice President
Rahul Gandhi claimed that the biggest challenge that the nation faces today is unemployment, a front where he feels the BJP has massively failed. He said that he wishes to see a day when a Chinese person clicks a selfie and realizes that his/her phone is Made in Himachal Pradesh.
In 24 hours, China provides 50,000 people with employment but in Modiji’s India, only 450 people get employment in 24 hours. If we don’t employ our youth, then their anger and violence will increase and the nation will start moving backwards.Rahul Gandhi, Congress Vice President
