A Pakistan Military Court’s sentencing of Kulbhushan Jadhav to death has garnered outrage across India. Condemning the order, protesters across the nation on Tuesday demand that the order be rolled back, while urging New Delhi to take remedial steps.

In Lucknow, protesters burnt effigies of Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, while urging PM Narendra Modi to step in. Similarly, a group of Muslim clerics lashed out at Islamabad, accusing it of labelling false charges of espionage on Jadhav.

In New Delhi, a group of protesters picketed outside the Pakistan embassy. They were later taken away by the police. Similar protests were also held in Mumbai, Nagpur and Patna.
